N: Quite fruity (stewed fruits) but not very expressive. May need a little water.
That's better. It's rather nutty now (Brazils) with some grassy notes following on. Then comes some Camp coffee essence with maybe a touch of menthol behind it. Quite complex.
P: Sweet and a little honeyed. but this is powerful at 63.5% - this does need some water I think.
With water, quite a bit of dark bitter chocolate comes through. This is followed by licquorice and spice. Most of the fruit has gone though some apple is still there.
F: Long, long finish on (mainly) licquorice and chocolate with the coffee still backing it up, then lingering ginger. Less fruit than on the nose or palate.
Comments: An unexpectedly complex lowlander full of chocolate and (particularly) licquorice. Good stuff!
