1984 Connoisseur's Choice

Tasting Notes:

N: Nail varnish and bananas. Very ripe bananas. A trace of hay in fields at the back

P: Fruity and malty. A wave of banoffee comes after 20 or so seconds in the mouth and is really very nice

F: Medium on some slightly burnt toffee. Then a sweet hit comes at the death

C: Peat Sampras (on www.whiskywhiskywhisky.com/forum ) was right. This is not as I remember it. It has improved with a few years sitting in an open bottle and is now really rather nice! (Or I just never got it before, which may be more likely...)
I may look for some more Mannochmores after all

Update: Some weeks later this has changed again. Loads of chocolate aromas pouring from the glass and that chocolate is on the palate and finish too. Perhaps this is more complex than I gave it credit for.
