Bladnoch Forum 27 yo

Age: 27 yo

Strength: 54%

Bottler: Bladnoch

Cask #: 20291

Tasting Notes:

N: Bourbon vanilla, acetone and apples. Quite oaky too. Barley sugar.

P: Fruity and barley sugar again. Quite sweet and some creme brulee

F: A fairly short finish. Still sweet and fruity though. After a few seconds, the finish revives and a wave of malty sweetness returns.

Comments: At first this didn't really grab me. Returning after a few weeks (I wonder if it's changed in the bottle since opening?) i seems to have a lot more flavour than first time. I'm glad I have another bottle stashed. At Raymond's prices this is excellent value. Glen Grant ages well - I don't understand why the Italians drink it at 5yo
